Pinot Blanc grapes that have been carefully cultivated in one
of the major wine-producing regions along Rhine River.
Suspended in this distinctive champagne, with its 12.5%
alcohol content, are small akes of 23 carat gold, giving it a
sparkling, celebratory appearance.
Since the 16th Century, 23 carat gold leaf in spirits has been a traditional priviledge for Royal families and statesmen in Europe.
The additional of gold leaf in wines and spirits represented a symbol of importance and status.
In the early 1900's people began to drink the water of famous spas such as Baden-Baden or Carlsbad.
Gold leaf was often added to these waters as a supplement to the treatment.
Today the creation of Gold Cuvèe is the revival of tradition and romance.
